Re: Retreat Director for High School ages.
Carrie Ford led a
successful retreat for H. S. Juniors, held at Christ the King Seminary for a
period of four hours. During that time the participants were presented with
material particularly relevant to their daily lives as well as the future.
Discussions were open, examples given from participants lives as well as the
experiences of Mrs. Ford and current events. Role play, music and prayer were
incorporated into a session that was both informative, joyful and prayerful.
Students were comfortable with Mrs. Ford which encouraged them to
participate in varied ways. All were involved in the activities presented and
the theme chosen for the day was carried out in a variety of ways.
Incorporating music into the day appealed to the students and contributed
greatly to the mood of the day. There was an energy present, the spirit of
prayer felt and a presentation which was most timely.
I give the
highest recommendation to Mrs. Ford and would encourage all who avail
themselves of her services to sit back and enjoy, you will be well pleased with
her accomplishments, the retreat will go well, and participants will benefit
from her direction. Mrs. Ford has a gift: an ability to communicate her own
love and life with Jesus and is able to make that love visible to the students,
as an example they rarely get to see.
Her preparation is complete,
opportunities given for responses, and an evaluation following the retreat.
Sincerely
